JACK HENRY CONNECT 2024 – REBYC SECURITY RECAP

Team Rebyc Security spent the week of October 7-11, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Jack Henry Connect (#JHConnect2024) Customer Conference. It was an amazing week for our team to get to re-Connect with Clients, Partners and Friends.

Jack Henry Connect Attendees were encouraged to create their own Lego figure and place on the map where they are from.

First – 105 to 110 degrees is hot – Thank you Phoenix for the unseasonably warm October!

Monday – October 7th

We kicked off the Jack Henry Connect with a modified Cybersecurity Forum. This forum included the new content we’ll be introducing in our upcoming Spring and Summer 2025 Cybersecurity Forums. That new content includes the dark web research our team has been conducting over the past 15 months. We’ll be adding more detail and examples to our upcoming events, but during the Phoenix event, we were able to provide a general overview of our research.

We had 108 confirmed attendees from banks and credit unions from 32 different states at the event – that is our most attended Cybersecurity Forum ever!

At the forum, and related to the research we discussed, Rebyc Security announced our new service – Rebyc Recon – A Dark Web Review. (Note: We’ll be updating our site shortly with info on this service – we soft launched at the Jack Henry Connect and the feedback was excellent!) If you would like to learn more about this service and want to see a sample report, send us a request to info@rebycsecurity.com.

Tuesday & Wednesday – October 8th & 9th

As anyone who’s been to Jack Henry Connect knows – these 2 days are long, but so rewarding. We had so many great conversations and several of our Cybersecurity Forum attendees made a point to stop by. That said, our most exciting booth visit was by Shaun Claseman – Executive Director of Dogs4Vets.

Dogs4Vets is a charitable organization focused on training service dogs to for today’s veterans. At no cost to the veterans, Dogs4Vets provides service dog training to the veteran and their personal pet. They have trained over 2000 service animals and typically train 80 per year with a running wait list of over 1.5 years.

This year, we selected Dogs4Vets as the beneficiary of the promotion we ran at the event. For every Rebyc Security Button we gave out at the Jack Henry Connect, we donated $10 to Dogs4Vets. We gave out over 200 buttons at the event allowing us to meet our goal of donating $2,000 to help allow them to continue their amazing service to our veterans!

Additionally, when we saw attendees wearing our Rebyc Security Buttons throughout the event, our team gave out over $1,000 in gift cards randomly to the button wearing attendees.

Once again, our best Rebyc Security Swag Promotor was Cedrick Paschal. His energy is infectious and he always has a big smile on his face, and he loves our swag!

Thursday – October 10th

We wrapped up the Jack Henry Connect and headed out to Corona Ranch for the conference ending reception – Excellent food, drink, rodeo and fellowship! We got to interact with some of the attendees from the event also witness our own Chris Horner give bull riding a solid attempt.

Also, as we mentioned, it was hot outside so we took advantage of some local transportation options including rickshaws and driverless cars via Waymo. It was a unique experience for sure – probably can work in a city like Phoenix where the city traffic is somewhat reasonable – don’t see how this would every work in a city like New York.

Friday – October 11th

Team Rebyc Security headed back to Charlotte (and NYC) both mutually exhausted and energized about the events of the past 4 days at the Jack Henry Connect. We had so many positive conversations with our clients and also several prospects who want to engage.
