Team Rebyc Security spent the week of September 7-12, 2025 in sunny San Diego, CA at the Jack Henry Connect (#JHConnect2025) Customer Conference and Cybersecurity Forum. It was an amazing week for our team to get to re-Connect with Clients, Partners and Friends.

The weather in San Diego was absolutely perfect, which worked out great for many of the outdoor events planned throughout the week.
Monday – September 8th
We kicked off the Jack Henry Connect with a modified Cybersecurity Forum – The Silent Siege. This forum was the kickoff to our latest content that we’ll be rolling out in our Spring 2026 Cybersecurity Forums. Upcoming forums will include Charlotte, Tampa, Las Vegas, Dallas, Detroit and Philadelphia.
At the forum, one of the key takeaways that was discussed was ensuring that financial institutions are including EDR in their testing scope. This concept is one we will continue to discuss in detail at our future forums.

During our Cybersecurity Forums, we always poll the attendees and ask about their top concerns for both fraud and cybersecurity. For cybersecurity, seldom do the top 2 change – #phishing and #ransomware.

Tuesday & Wednesday – September 9th & 10th
It’s always so hard to be in a place as beautiful as San Diego and then be in the Tech Room for 2 full days, but the attendees kept us busy. Many of the attendees from the Cybersecurity Forum stopped by to ask additional questions and discuss their testing challenges.
We had many good discussions about the approaches and attack paths we take during our Internal Penetration Testing. Additionally, starting rolling out information related to our latest new service, Microsoft Entra ID Assumed Breach Testing.
And, this year, as we always do during the JAC, we struck up a relationship with a local charity and ran a promotion to where Rebyc buttons – for each we gave it, we donated $10. This year, we chose Pawsitive Teams – a San Diego charity who focuses on training dogs to be therapy and facility dogs. We were fortunate to have two trainers, Melinda and Araceli, team stop by with their 2 therapy dogs – Pom Pom and Coco.

Once again, we gave out over 200 buttons at the event allowing us to meet our goal of donating $2,000 to help allow them to continue to provide their “Pawsitive” training dogs.

And, what would a JAC be without our favorite Rebyc Raving Fan, Cedrick Paschal, stopping by. He always puts a smile on our face.
Thursday – September 11th
We packed up and got ready for our return back to Charlotte. The JAC attendees were treated to a tour of the historic Midway aircraft carrier. And, our team was able to make it out to a San Diego Padres game while we were in town. Below are some additional pics from our week in San Diego.
